As mentioned in this article and this other one, Isla Mujeres is home to the second-best beach in Mexico, and spending a day here is—and will be—unforgettable. You can watch a sunset, enjoy Playa Norte, visit Garrafón Park, and do many other activities.
But this post isn’t about what to do—it’s about where to eat. That’s why I’m leaving you a list of places to eat in Isla Mujeres. And of course, this list includes both budget-friendly spots and places with much higher prices.
Places to Eat in Isla Mujeres
Fuego de Mar

This wonderful place located on Boulevard Paseo de Las Aves is run by true seafood experts—although they also serve international and contemporary dishes, we always recommend going for the seafood.
Even though it’s a bit far from the main areas, that’s exactly what makes it so special. Isla Mujeres has become very crowded, so finding a bit of privacy in this paradise is simply amazing.
When you arrive, the first thing you’ll get is a warm welcome from the staff, who will always be attentive to what you need. I recommend ordering the wood-fired baked fish and finishing with a lemon dessert.
Rosa Sirena’s

Another great place to eat in Isla Mujeres is Rosa Sirena’s—again, not right in the center, away from the island’s main areas, which gives it a pleasant sense of calm.
It has a very nice and authentic terrace, with live music on some days. The service is excellent, and the owner, waiters, and staff will treat you like family.
The food at Rosa Sirena’s is authentic and original, and it’s where you really understand what “value for money” means.
Mango Café Isla

Treat your taste buds at this restaurant located at Playa Obispo. Unlike the two previous restaurants, this one is more central, so it’s a popular tourist stop.
But that doesn’t mean slow service or an unpleasant experience—quite the opposite.
And if you’re tired of seafood, here you’ll enjoy delicious Mexican, Caribbean, and Latin cuisine.
Casa Rolandi

For more demanding diners, Casa Rolandi is a great place to eat in Isla Mujeres, with a very privileged location that offers a beautiful ocean view. The service is very good, prices are a bit high, and portion sizes will always depend on the dish you order.
Personally, I recommend the mozzarella cheese cappelletti, which comes with a delicious veal sauce and a touch of truffle—it’s finger-licking good. And of course, if you’re a pizza lover, this is one of the places that makes the best pizzas on the island.
Capricci Pizza & Sfizi

Since we mentioned pizza, Capricci Pizza & Sfizi is the go-to restaurant for pizzas that will make your palate experience flavors so unique you’ll feel like you’re in another dimension.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be seduced by the aroma of fresh ingredients, the dough, and the heat of the ovens—preparing true specialties for their guests. I recommend trying the crab pizza.
